'Blood Gold' - Leo for the BIG win

Kudos to Leo for grabbing the Oscars this year, and the just as many internet memes as he always does at the end of every Oscar ceremony, also becoming the most tweeted person topping the selfie taken by Ellen Degeneres in 2014.
But all the Leonardo fans out there, won't you agree that although a well deserved and awaited award for him the Oscar wasn't quite satisfactory. As a die hard DiCaprio fan my enthusiasm and happiness for him is immense, but, and I continue to hope this doesn't count as blasphemy, the oscar was ill-timed.
I won't say not deserved, for he fully deserves every inch of that gold.
But, compared to his performances in "The Wolf of Wall Street'', "Blood Diamond'', "The Departed" and "Shutter Island" amongst all his other great works , "The Revenant" seems under the bar.
While Eddie Redmayne nominated for ("The Danish Girl") equal deserved it along with the other nominees DiCaprio's win surprised all.
